Which airport should I fly into for the retreat in Andalucía?

We recommend flying into Seville, about a 75-minute drive from Suryalila. Jerez de la Frontera is around 50 minutes away and Málaga about 2 hours 15 minutes.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in on arrival day, 4 September 2027, is from 4:00 pm; rooms may be ready earlier. Please arrive before 9:00 pm. Check-out on 11 September 2027 is by 11:00 am, with facilities available during the day for later departures.

How much do airport transfers cost?

Transfers are charged per car: Seville €100, Jerez €80, and Málaga €160. The transfer partner will try to match arriving guests to share and reduce cost.

Eight days and seven nights at Suryalila Retreat Centre.

Meals

Dinner on the arrival day, if you arrive in time.
Light breakfast, brunch and dinner during the course.
Breakfast and brunch on the final day.

Teaching

Three classes per day, plus two classes on the last morning, and two Q&A sessions across the week. All equipment is provided.

Arrival & departure

Check-in · Saturday 4 September 2027

Check-in is from 4:00 pm, though your room may be ready earlier. You are welcome to arrive before 4:00 pm. Please arrive before 9:00 pm; reception closes at 9:30 pm. Arrivals after 9:30 pm incur a late check-in fee of €50.

Check-out · Saturday 11 September 2027

Please vacate your room by 11:00 am on departure day. You are welcome to use the facilities during the day if you are departing later.

Getting there

Airports & travel

Suryalila is close to the villages of Arcos de la Frontera and Prado del Rey, roughly 45 minutes from Cádiz and an hour from Seville. You can fly into one of three airports — we recommend Seville.

Car hire

Several car rental companies operate locally. By car, Seville is roughly 75 minutes away, Jerez 50 minutes, and Málaga about 2 hours.

By bus

You can take the bus to Villamartín, a town about 15 minutes from Suryalila, then arrange a taxi pick-up for €20 per car. The taxi can also be booked through the transfers form.
